The McMaster Centre for Transfusion Research (MCTR) is located in the Hamilton Health Sciences/ McMaster Children’s Hospital building on the McMaster University campus at 1200 Main St. West. Convenient underground parking is available. Take the purple elevators to the third floor, exit right off the elevator and proceed to the end of the hall. Turn left, through tan double doors and HSC-3H50 is located on the right-hand side.

Directions

From Toronto, Oakville, Burlington

Take Highway 403 to the Main Street West exit. At the traffic lights at the top of the ramp turn left. Continue down Main Street past the Health Sciences Centre to the intersection with Emerson Street. Turn right. Go straight up to the double doors at the front of the building (McMaster site of the Hamilton Health Sciences Corporation). For parking, after turning right at Emerson, move to left lane and continue right, turning left into the entrance to underground parking.

From St. Catharines and the Niagara Peninsula

Follow the Queen Elizabeth Way over the Skyway Bridge as though going to Toronto. Take Highway 403 West towards Hamilton, and take the Main Street West exit. At the traffic lights at the top of the ramp turn left. Continue down Main Street past the Health Sciences Centre to the intersection with Emerson Street. Turn right. Go straight up to the double doors at the front of the building (McMaster site of the Hamilton Health Sciences Corporation.) For parking, after turning right at Emerson, move to left lane and continue right, turning left into the entrance to underground parking.

From Kitchener/Waterloo

Take Highway 401 to Highway 6 to Highway 403, and take the Main Street West exit. At the traffic lights at the top of the ramp turn left. Continue down Main Street past the Health Sciences Centre to the intersection with Emerson Street. Turn right. Go straight up to the double doors at the front of the building (McMaster site of the Hamilton Health Sciences Corporation.) For parking, after turning right at Emerson, move to left lane and continue right, turning left into the entrance to underground parking.

From Brantford and London

From Brantford travel on Highway 403 to the Aberdeen Street exit. Turn left at Longwood Road and proceed to Main Street. Turn left and continue down Main Street passed the Health Sciences Centre to the intersection with Emerson Street. Turn right. Go straight up to the double doors at the front of the building (McMaster site of the Hamilton Health Sciences Corporation.) For parking, after turning right at Emerson, move to left lane and continue right, turning left into the entrance to underground parking.
